This is quite an uncommon PDA - Amstrad's answer to the Apple Newton. From the web :"The Amstrad PenPad, like the Apple Newton, struggled in a time where these early PDAs were expensive to produce and did not manage to capture enough interest and eventually production was discontinued. The remaining UK units being sold off to Tandy Corporation who retailed the stock through their chain of stores at £50 per unit, half the price they had cost Amstrad to build. It wasn't until the launch of the Palm Pilot 1000 in 1996 that the first truly successful PDA relying on pen input was born. Rabbit Cordless Telephone - PRE Mobile Phones!! Rabbit Telephones - CT2 Rabbit was a British location-specific (Telepoint) telephone service backed by Hutchison. The Rabbit network was the best-known of four such services introduced in the 1980s, the others being Phonepoint, Mercury Callpoint and Zonephone. Although Hutchison had been issued a licence for Rabbit in 1989, it took until May 1992 before the service was launched. Telepoint services such as Rabbit allowed subscribers to carry specially designed (CT2) home phone handsets with them and make outgoing calls whenever they were within 100 metres of a Rabbit transmitter. The service ceased in December 1993, only 20 months after being launched. Two thousand customers were with Rabbit at the time the service closed. The failure of Rabbit can be mainly attributed to the fall in costs of analogue mobile networks Cellnet and Vodafone, which also accepted incoming calls. Hutchison Whampoa lost around $183m from the failure of Rabbit but later went on to found the successful Orange mobile phone network. Many of the Rabbit CT2 telephones were sold with a home base station as a home CT2 cordless telephone system and these continued to be used for many years after the closure of the Rabbit network. Available to by here is one phone and one charging base unit. Both of these are boxed and in very good condition. The batteries were removed from the phone a long time ago to prevent leakage and I no longer have them. Sadly one of the battery terminals has snapped off so I am unable to test it.

It has no battery but does run off a standard mains adaptor (not supplied). It powers up but I am in a terrible location for TV signals (between two hills) so I can't pick-up anything to test it with, but the screen lights up and you get white noise out of the speaker just like a TV that isn't tuned it. Acorn Xemplar Matrix NC - Network Computer Xemplar was founded in 1996 as a 50/50 joint venture between Acorn and Apple to sell to the UK Education Market. In 1998 Acorn was looking to sell its 50% and seeking a buyer. In January 1999 Apple bought out Acorns 50% for �3 million. This ended Xemplar's involvement with Acorn and RISC OS based products. Quite a rare Acorn / Apple machine. Great Addition to any Acorn or Apple Collection You are bidding on just the main unit.It has been tested by using a suitable 16v power supply (not supplied) and it comes up with the screen saying that it is unable to find the boot server. (It uses bootp). I have have plugged in a standard PS2 mouse and keyboard which both seem to work fine. Again these will not be supplied, just the main computer. This is as far as I am able to test. If you know of any further tests I can perform, please let me know. Being a 'Network Computer' you will need to set-up a bootp server configure in a way to suit the Acorn NC. Amstrad CPC464 with Colour Monitor In good condition generally speaking. They have various marks and scuffs consistent with thier age. The picture is sharp, and have loaded a couple of the games from tape to test it. All seems good. Also included is a couple of joysticks. I havent tested them but consider them freebies. Atari 520 STFM Boxed with matching Serial Numbers on both computer & box.Serial Number : A1 76J 4014381 I *think* it *may* have had a memory upgrade to 1 Mb but I can't remember for sure.(If you know a test that I can do to see, please let me know) It comes some disks with software on them. Somemusic & midi related, various games, Sequencers, Copiers Disk (Very Useful!) and more. The STFM version was brilliant for music as the STE was incompatible with a lot of software produced. So much so that I had so much trouble with my STE I sold it and bought a secondhand STFM instead and my troubles were over! This machine performed flawlessly in my studio for many years. A great computer. The mouse is the original Atari Mouse. It's also supplied with an external floppy disk drive (configured to operate as drive A as the internal one had disk reading problems), mains cable, quickshot joystick, TV cable and some other midi music catalogue. It is fairly clean but could be cleaned up further if you have the time. You get everything you see in the picture. I have tested everything I can and it works fine. I even run a floppy drive cleaning disk through it to ensure the floppy drive is the best it can be. I have tested it on both my TV and my SM124 monitor which will be available separately. ATPL SideWise - Sideways ROM for BBC Micro "The ATPL SIDEWISE BOARD provides an expansion of the SIDEWAYS ROM facility of the BBC COMPUTER, increasing support from four devices up to the maximum of sixteen supported by the OS. Each device may be either 8K or 16K bytes in standard configuration with some useful options selectable by links on the board. The socket for ROM number 15 has been split into two 8K sockets -15a and 15b- to allow use of 8K byte CMOS RAM chips and therefore provides support for up to 16K of SIDEWAYS RAM. The logic is arranged such that any write performed to the SIDEWAYS ROM area of the machine will access the RAM directly, irrespective of and without affecting the current ROM selected. Commodore 64 - Boxed with Extras - B21 - £89.00
Classic Bullnose Commodore 64 with Extras I don't know what it is about the C64 but it just looks great. It's really an icon of eighties computing in my opinion. This one is in great condition. Included in the auction is everything you see in the picture including the power supply (which buzzes quite a bit, but works fine), user manual and of course the computer!. A TV lead is also supplied. I have powered it up and given it a good test by loading a couple of the games which are supplied with it. It does come with a few other game tapes too, listed below. Not all of these have been tested though. All the keyboard keys work fine. Sound is awesome as you'd expect from the C64 and the picture is clear and stable. Also with it is a cassette deck with original box, polys & manual. When the tapes loads the computer stop the tape and then starts it again. At this point you have to press pause a couple of times to get the tape to start up again. It's just the mechanism is a bit tight after not being used for many years. If you give it a quick service it'll probably be fine. Or perhaps just some use will bring it back to action. As it stands at the moment, it doesn't stop it working. I have also put in a joystick at the last minute but this is untested and should be considered a freebie! Supplied with some of the best games available for this classic machine!! Commodore C16 Computer - Boxed - - £89.00
Commodore C16 Computer - Boxed The computer and cassette deck are in good condition but the box is a little tatty. Supplied complete with power supply, cassette deck, 3 software cassettes, programming manual, cassette deck manual. There's no RF cable but these are easy to get hold of. It has been tested by plugging it in and writing a little program. The cassette deck also seems to work but I couldn't get a program to load. Either the tapes have lost the data or I was doing it wrong! - I only tried for a couple of minutes and gave up! A great example of this fairly uncommon machine.

Commodore VIC-20 Computer Supplied complete with power supply, RF modulator, Phono TV Lead, cassette deck (boxed), introduction to basic manual, user manual, Introduction to basic part 2 (boxed and unused!) and a Mastering the VIC-20 book. There are loads of tapes too including : Commodore Intro Tape : Race - Hoppit - Type A Tune - Blitz Catcha Snatcha Frogger Arcadia Duck Shoot Space Scramble Crazy Kong Bewitched 3D Maze Engineshed Introduction to Basic Part 1 Tape AND ... 40 Tapes FULL of games and software of dubious origin! There are two cartridges too : Road Race 3K Memory Expansion Cartridge This is the EARLY version of the Vic-20 with the 2 PIN rectangular power supply plug. It has been well tested, loading a few of the programs from the cassettes supplied. All loaded first time. You can see pics of the loaded software below. A great example of this machine. The only minor fault is that the power switch at the side is iffy. It is somtimes difficult to push the switch and sometimes you have to turn it on and off a few times to power it up. Personally I would probably short the switch out and turn it on and off from the mains! It is a common problem with the power switches on the earlier VIC-20's. Once it's on though it works really well.

IBM PS/1 Computer System - - £35.00
IBM PS/1 Computer System. Includes monitor, keyboard mouse, base unit and mains lead as pictured below. It is a bit grubby but can be cleaned up easily enough. The mouse needs some mechanical attention. It basically works but has a replacement ball holder underneath which is stopping the ball moving properly for some reason. It has a DOS operating system yet with a graphical front end. All the software is on the internal hard disk. There is a small crack on the front of the monitor (top left) but its not very noticable and doesn't affect the operation. Could probably be superglued quite tidily. Picture is of actual item.

Research Machines - LINK 480Z In good clean physical condition. It has been tested by plugging it in and the fan works and the keyboard light comes on but the picture on my LCD telly is terrible. The picture is rolling on the screen very quickly so I can't really make out what is going on!However, there is text and when I hit certain keys the text changes significantly, so I *think* it is working and just incompatible with my new LCD telly perhaps. I have read lots of times that machines like ZX80's etc only really work on older tellys. I can't promise that this machine is fully working but my basic tests are kinda promising. There are yellow school security markings on the right hand side but I reckon these could be removed with a little elbow grease.

A classic and quite uncommon vintage computer from 1980. The Video Genie was a series of computers produced by Hong Kong-based manufacturer EACA during the early 1980s. They were compatible with the Tandy TRS-80 Model I computers and could be considered a clone although there were hardware and software differences. I have plugged it in, tested the keyboard and written and ran a small BASIC program (See screenshot below). The tape deck works but I could not get a program to load either because I had the wrong volume setting or the tape is defunct. It is the original Video Genie demonstration cassette but the demo side has been recorded over with other programs. The tape player does seem to work though. It is also supplied with three original manuals : Users Manual Basic Manual Programming For Beginners This is quite a rare machine on Ebay. Grab it while you can ... Will be packed carefully.
